SOLO

this little guy was abandoned underneath my front porch...claws can't retract yet and his ears haven't opened...and he still has those kitten blue eyes...very young...I'd say 12 days or so...Well, I was off by a bunch of days...the vet said that he was maybe 5-6 days old when I found him

I had to dismantle about half my porch before I had him cornered, he can't yet walk but I was afraid of hurting him...he hadn't eaten in in at least 24 hours so I was worried about his health...

the vet said the first few days would be the test...if he took to the bottle and the formula...

It's been a long time since I've taken care of a baby...bottle feedings every few hours...keeping him warm..and cleaning up poop....he's peed on me a half dozen times already

he's gained 1.5 oz in the last few days though..he's next to an Ohio #3..

I keep him with me 24-7...even bring him to the flea market..

at least now he stands a fighting chance

strange, me being a mommy figure....but I think we've imprinted on each other...

he's starting to look like an actual cat..

at 1lb  6oz he's doubled his weight

he tends to like being under things...especially my chair

likes to hang out when I pack up tools for shipping...

and sometimes just likes to hang out...

Yeah, he's a tool cat alright

scary morning...he chewed the tip off of his bottle and swallowed it....trip to the vet, induced vomiting and everything was ok again....
